Fall Line’s courses are led by a master facilitator who has deep experience in leading groups and in teaching others how to do so. Among the several thousand course participants have been mountain guides, newspaper editors, ore truck drivers, auditors, and medical researchers—to name some of the outliers.
The courses are hands-on balanced by theory and discussion. We start with the results of a pre-workshop questionnaire, tuning the activities to fit the situations participants will be facilitating when they return to their workplaces.
All our courses are done in-person as we find the learning opportunities are richer when everyone is in the same room, at the same time.
The two courses we offer are:
- Facilitation Skills Workshop: suitable for a range of skills from highly experienced to those new to facilitating. This course provides foundation-level theory plus basic and more advanced facilitation tools mixed in with plenty of opportunity to practice
- Facilitation Master Class: for experienced facilitators. In the Master Class we dig deep into complex facilitation situations the participants are dealing with, identifying ways to prevent the most troubling issues and ways to respond when these issues pop up.
